MEP Commercial Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead a dedicated MEP commercial team on a large Central London office project, ensuring profitable delivery and effective stakeholder engagement. You will develop strategies for commercial delivery, manage risk and opportunities, and support cross-functional teams across Design, Operations and Pre-Construction. The position sits with a tier-one main contractor on a high-profile project with a long project horizon. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of around 12 commercial staff and ensure alignment with project objectives
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support functions such as Design, Operations, and Pre-Construction
• Drive commercial strategy, client engagement, and repeat business while mentoring the wider Commercial Team
• Agree and monitor project profit plans and stretch profit targets throughout procurement and construction

Key requirements

• Experience managing large M&E packages up to 50M or multiple smaller projects
• Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
• Solid commercial background
• Qualification in Building Services or Quantity Surveying
