Residential Conveyancing Lawyer – Cardiff

Overview

In this Cardiff role you will join a well-established firm’s residential property team to manage a busy caseload across sales, purchases, leasehold, remortgages, new build work and transfers of equity. You will handle matters with a high degree of autonomy, supporting the firm’s client base with expert conveyancing advice. The opportunity combines hands-on case work with a collaborative, inclusive culture at a respected multi-office practice. You will help drive smooth property transactions in a demanding, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a busy, independent caseload across a full range of residential property matters (sales, purchases, leasehold, remortgages, new build, transfers of equity)
• Provide expert conveyancing guidance to clients and internal stakeholders
• Work with minimal supervision to progress and close transactions efficiently
• Collaborate with colleagues across the residential property team to ensure high-quality service
• Maintain accurate files and documentation, ensuring compliance and risk management
• Identify and resolve complex title and funding issues as they arise

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor, CILEX or Licensed Conveyancer
• Proven experience in independently managing a conveyancing caseload
• Strong knowledge of residential property transactions and related processes
