In this Specialist Platform Engineer role, you’ll design, build, and maintain the foundational infrastructure, tooling, and automation that product teams rely on to deliver software efficiently. You will deploy and scale global cloud applications, emphasizing Kubernetes and cloud-native capabilities to support scalable, reliable production systems. You’ll collaborate with development teams to align infrastructure with their needs and advance secure, observable, and high-performance platforms. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure infrastructure supports their needs and enables scalable application practices
- Leverage container orchestration tools (Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies) to enable reliable deployment, observability, and performance
- Champion automation and optimization to address operational challenges and drive efficiency
- Stay current with technology trends and introduce innovative solutions to the team
- Incorporate security controls into designed solutions and guide others on best practices
- Support activities to improve development processes and coordinate changes across components
Key requirements
- Proficiency in Python scripting or application development
- Familiarity with Terraform and CloudFormation, IaC methodologies
- Solid understanding of networking and security principles
- Problem-solving ability and pattern analysis in logs and behavior
- Experience with CI systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
