Employment Solicitor – Bristol

Overview

In this role, you will work within aTop 100 UK law firm’s employment team in Bristol, handling a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious matters. You will manage your own caseload with supervision, delivering commercially focused advice to employer and employee clients. You’ll draft and review contracts, policies and settlement agreements, and run Employment Tribunal matters from instruction to hearing. You will support senior lawyers on high-value disputes and help build client relationships and business development. Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload with supervision and deliver high-quality advice
• Advise on dismissals, discrimination, TUPE and redundancy
• Draft and review contracts, policies, procedures and settlement agreements
• Run Employment Tribunal matters from instruction to hearing
• Support senior lawyers on complex or high-value disputes
• Build strong client relationships and act as main point of contact
• Contribute to business development

Key requirements

• 1-3 years’ PQE in employment law
• Confidence managing own matters with supervision
• Strong technical knowledge across contentious and non-contentious employment work
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Proactive, organized approach with ability to prioritise
• Interest in business development and growing professional network
