Client Executive / Broker – Construction (International Energy)

Overview

In this role, you will join Marsh Risk’s Construction team in London to manage international energy-focused construction risk and insurance placements. You will plan broking strategies with clients and network offices to secure lead terms, while supporting both retail and wholesale client service. You’ll work closely with major clients, broking teams, and claims colleagues to deliver technical insurance advice. The position combines hands-on client engagement with specialist construction insurance training in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support major project insurance placements in the international construction sector, focusing on energy
• Plan and execute broking strategy with clients and network offices to achieve lead terms
• Collaborate with major clients and network offices to provide retail and wholesale support
• Deliver technical insurance guidance across diverse client challenges
• Be part of a close-knit team of construction insurance specialists delivering high-quality service
• Engage in industry-focused insurance training from leading construction professionals

• Develop relationships with broking and claims teams and other support colleagues

Key requirements

• Client and market-facing experience within Construction Clients or large corporate clients
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to engage senior client contacts
• Technical competence in CAR/TPL/DSU classes of insurance
