Senior Executive (Manager) – Operational Decision Intelligence – London

Overview

In this role you will lead end-to-end delivery of Operational Decision Intelligence projects, translating complex models into clear outputs for clients. You’ll work with cross-functional teams at EY-Parthenon, guiding analytics-driven decisions and deploying AI-enhanced solutions. You will manage client expectations, mentor junior colleagues, and explore opportunities to apply AI for efficiency gains. This is a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment with multinational clients, offering development across strategy, operations and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery through the project lifecycle: requirements, design, data collection, development, testing, and training.
• Oversee project teams and mentor junior members to grow technical capabilities.
• Collaborate with clients to design and implement complex models/algorithms and visualise outputs.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI to innovate and improve project outcomes.
• Manage client expectations and project risk with escalation to Directors/Partners as needed.
• Support senior members in developing new business and service offerings.

Key requirements

• Degree in Operational Research or equivalent in a numerate/analytical subject
• Experience in optimisation and analytics (network, supply chain, resource allocation)
• Experience with workforce modelling and analytics (demand, supply, capacity forecasting)
• Hands-on Operational Research techniques (discrete event simulation, mathematical programming, system dynamics, forecasting, scenario analysis)
• Track record applying analytics to support optimisation and complex decision-making
• Project management experience from requirements to delivery and performance monitoring
• Strong client-facing communication and ability to coach others
