HVAC Installation Engineer

Overview

In this role you install and commission HVAC systems at customer sites, supporting multiple projects and maintaining strong client relationships. You will work as part of the VRF Installation Team, delivering on-site installations safely and to schedule, while providing guidance to meet client needs. The position involves travel and remote work alongside ongoing training opportunities. You will contribute to delivering high-quality, compliant HVAC solutions that align with the company’s service leadership.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC equipment and pipework to defined processes and timelines
• Attend client sites and support multiple projects, including away work
• Commission HVAC equipment and validate system performance
• Adhere to Risk Assessments and Method Statements, and prioritize Health & Safety
• Interpret technical documents (electrical schemes, piping diagrams)
• Ensure installations meet required standards and client needs
• Maintain and document installation details using the LD-Control platform (iPad)

Key requirements

• Proven experience in full HVAC installation (pipework, bracketry, cabling)
• F-GAS 2079 Cat 1 qualification
• Experience with major manufacturers (Daikin, Hitachi, Mitsubishi Electric, Airedale)
• Knowledge of DX, Split VRF/VRV systems, AHUs & ventilation plant
• Experience commissioning HVAC equipment
• Ability to interpret technical documents (electrical schemes, piping diagrams)
• Full UK driving license
• IT skills (recording details in LD-Control platform via iPad)
• Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
