Performance Reporting Analyst

Overview

In this role you support institutional clients by delivering performance analytics, attribution and reporting for multi-asset and single-asset portfolios. You’ll produce client-ready reports, engage in client meetings, and respond to queries, contributing to transparent investment insights. You’ll collaborate with custodians, external managers and portfolio managers to ensure accurate, timely outputs. The position offers hybrid work and a focus on improving processes through automation while aligning with Mercer’sInvestment Solutions mission.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and review performance attribution and reporting accurately and on time
• Produce reports for investment committees and trustee boards
• Work with custodians, external managers, and portfolio managers
• Respond to client queries and explain performance insights clearly
• Write investment and market commentary
• Help improve processes and efficiency through automation

Key requirements

• Demonstrable, relevant experience in performance analytics, portfolio reporting, attribution within financial services or related investments environment
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• A numerate degree
• Ideally working toward CFA or CIPM
• Good communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
