Platform Engineer: Identity Governance & Administration

Overview

In this role you will help evolve secure, scalable identity services as part of Kingfisher’s Platform team. You’ll work on identity lifecycle, provisioning and automation to support current and future Identity Governance platforms. You will partner with security, directory engineering and other teams to deliver reliable access management, driving platform modernisation. This is an operator role shaping identity services across the organisation with a focus on engineering excellence and reducing technical debt.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering improvements, upgrades, migrations and technical refresh activities aligned to the Identity Governance roadmap
• Engineer and support identity lifecycle, provisioning, access governance and automation capabilities across the identity estate
• Develop, maintain and enhance Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) and associated identity integrations
• Support the modernisation of identity services and the transition to Kingfisher’s future Identity Governance platform
• Create reusable automation, APIs, connectors, workflows and integrations that improve efficiency, scalability and consistency
• Apply robust engineering practices across development, testing, source control, documentation and release management while reducing technical debt through standardisation and automation
• Collaborate with platform, security, directory engineering, supplier and application teams to deliver secure, resilient and supportable identity services, while helping resolve complex technical issues through root-cause analysis

Key requirements
