Overview
In this role you manage a varied commercial property caseload within a forward-thinking Plymouth firm, supporting SME clients and contributing to business growth. You will handle secured lending, securitisation, leases, and sales while collaborating across the department to develop the commercial client offering. You’ll attend networking events and nurture your own client/referrer network, driving high-quality service and growth. Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters (secured lending, finance, securitisation)
- Handle commercial leases and landlord/tenant matters
- Oversee sales and purchases of freehold commercial properties and businesses
- Tackle complex property and mortgage-related transactions
- Collaborate with colleagues across the department
- Contribute to business development initiatives
- Attend networking events and develop your own client/referrer network
- Support growing the firm’s commercial client offering
Key requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ PQE in commercial property
- Strong drafting and research skills
- Confidence with complex matters
- Commercially minded with business client awareness
- Excellent communication and relationship-building
- Proactive and driven with ambition to grow client base

- Good IT literacy and experience with case management systems
