Resident Service Engineer – Doncaster

Overview

As a Field Service Technician, you will service and repair forklifts at customer sites, upholding safety and quality standards. You’ll work to planned schedules, monitor site stock, and complete documentation accurately. You’ll ensure equipment safety and reliability while coordinating with customers and internal teams. This role offers hands-on problem solving and professional growth in a renowned material handling company. Responsibilities

• service and repairs to equipment on customer sites
• maintain documentation of works in line with H&S and Quality procedures
• work to planned service and maintenance schedules, including off-site requirements
• monitor site stock and ensure sufficient parts for daily maintenance
• carry out inspections and monitor safety of repaired/maintained trucks
• complete job sheets, timesheets and purchase requisitions within timescales
• manage equipment and tooling (van, laptop, printer) and keep it safe
• adhere to strict schedules and deadlines

Key requirements

• Full UK driving licence
• Proficient in fault finding and repair
• GCSE English and Maths (Grade C)
• Experience of Health & Safety requirements in a workshop
• Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
• Excellent organisational skills, resourceful and solution-driven
• High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
