Steel Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the delivery of structural steel projects across Central London from planning to completion. You’ll manage four live sites with direct line management of Site Managers, ensuring programmes, budgets, and quality are met. You will drive safety culture and provide strong leadership to site teams, collaborating with clients and design teams to resolve issues. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role with an ASAP start in North London.

Responsibilities

• Manage four live sites concurrently with four Site Managers reporting to you
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of steel projects from planning through completion
• Prepare, review and update project programmes to meet timelines and budgets
• Coordinate site activities, labour, subcontractors and resources to maintain progress
• Liaise with clients, design teams and senior management for updates and issue resolution
• Oversee health and safety across sites and promote compliant working culture
• Provide leadership, guidance and mentoring to site teams to sustain high workmanship standards

Key requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within structural steel
• NVQ Level 6 qualification
• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously
