Overview

In this M&A Transaction Services role at Deloitte, you will help clients evaluate target businesses and identify key value drivers and risks. You will work within cross-functional deal teams to support strategic decisions on corporate and private equity transactions. The role focuses on financial due diligence, risk assessment, and deal documentation, with exposure to international assignments and a collaborative, inclusive culture. You will contribute to high-quality reporting and stakeholder engagement, delivering measurable value for clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of the target business and its drivers
• Interpret and analyse information memoranda and business plans
• Review historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheets
• Assess projections and underlying assumptions
• Evaluate working capital facilities and financing terms
• Assess potential synergies and key risk factors
• Report findings and risk/price implications to clients
• Review sale and purchase agreements and link them to due diligence findings
• Analyse financial structures and credit agreements
• Collaborate effectively in diverse, inclusive teams

Key requirements

• ACA qualification or equivalent/experience
• Experience in M&A Transactions or Financial Due Diligence
• Strong report writing, attention to detail, and risk management
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience dealing with senior stakeholders
• Advanced Excel skills and data manipulation
• Strong commercial acumen and market awareness
