Quality Auditor Technologist

Overview

In this role you ensure products meet safety, legality and quality standards by conducting audits, testing and investigations. You’ll support operations with clear quality guidance and help drive improvements, from traceability to product launches. You work closely with QA leadership and production teams to identify issues early and implement fixes, contributing to a strong quality culture across the site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out GMP, quality and process audits to verify compliance with food safety and customer standards
• Raise non-conformances with evidence and track corrective actions
• Perform product checks, organoleptic assessments, micro testing and shelf-life work
• Support investigations such as traceability checks, out-of-spec issues and customer complaints
• Provide operational teams with technical advice on quality standards
• Assist with NPD trials and product launches by coordinating testing and assessing quality
• Maintain accurate audit records, testing data and quality documentation
• Support QA Manager, QA Team Leader and Technical Manager when issues or decisions arise

Key requirements

• Experience in Technical, QA or food manufacturing
• Good understanding of HACCP, GMP, allergens and food safety standards
• Ability to carry out audits and provide constructive feedback to production teams
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence others
• Proactive approach to identifying issues early and supporting rapid fixes
