Chief Financial Officer

Overview

As Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the Trust’s finances across the Central Team and school sites, ensuring sustainable financial health and robust financial planning. You will shape asset management, payroll, risk, and procurement, working with the Executive Team to support school-based staff and strategic school outcomes. You will engage with the Trust Board and Finance, Audit and Risk committees to drive governance and value for learners. This is a mission-driven role in education with a focus on strategic impact and financial resilience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, asset management, payroll, accounting, risk management and procurement for the Trust
• Line-manage the Central Finance Team and support school-based staff
• Contribute to Trust Board and Finance, Audit and Risk committee meetings
• Ensure the Trust maintains a sustainable financial position
• Collaborate with Executive Team to align finance with strategic objectives
