In this Internal Site Manager role, you’ll lead internal works on a large Exeter commercial project, ensuring progress aligns with the construction program. You will collaborate with the management team and engineers to maintain safety, timing, and budget adherence. The position offers long-term prospects within a high-visibility fit-out environment. This is a practical, hands-on leadership role that shapes delivery on a major construction site.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal works contractors and oversee day-to-day operations
• Ensure internal works progress aligns with the construction programme
• Deliver the programme safely, on time and within budget
• Communicate with the wider construction management team and engineers
• Lead and develop site personnel in a proactive, effective manner

Key requirements

• Experience in site management with a strong background in internal works and/or commercial fit-out
• Experience in student accommodation or high-rise residential projects
• SMSTS
