Senior Investment Analyst

I am currently working with a specialist Lloyd’s insurer who are looking for a Senior Investment Analyst to join their investments team. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the management of the investment portfolio. This includes investment reporting, manager oversight, portfolio management, investment analysis and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to portfolio analysis, manager research, investment reporting, and strategic decision-making within a collaborative team. Monitor portfolio performance, risk, and asset allocation, providing analysis and reporting.
• Conduct research and due diligence on investment managers, funds, and asset classes.
• Prepare investment proposals, committee papers, and strategic analysis.
• Produce investment reports for senior management and governance committees.
• Work closely with Finance, Risk, and Actuarial teams to support investment governance and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in investment analysis in asset management, insurance investments or other financial field. Lloyd’s market experience is essential
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate insights effectively.
• Experience working with investment managers or multi-asset portfolios is desirable. Proficiency in Excel and investment platforms
