About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Mechanical Engineer with a specialization in aerospace applications to join their globally distributed team. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and validating complex mechanical systems for aircraft and spacecraft components. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components for aerospace applications, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards.
• Perform advanced engineering analyses, including structural, thermal, and fatigue analysis, using specialized software.
• Develop detailed design documentation, including 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical specifications for aerospace manufacturing.
• Collaborate closely with a remote team of engineers, technicians, and project managers to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Oversee the testing and qualification of aerospace components and systems, ensuring they meet performance and safety requirements.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in aerospace technology and mechanical engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, with a significant focus on the aerospace industry .
• Expertise in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX) and advanced FEA/CFD tools.
• Deep understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and aerospace systems.
• Proven experience working effectively in a remote , collaborative team setting.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
