We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a major Data Centre project in Bracknell.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing specialist mechanical subcontractors delivering packages including:
- Ventilation
- Pipework / Piping
- Air Conditioning
- Associated mechanical services
- Testing and commissioning activities
This is primarily a subcontractor and package management role rather than a direct man-management position.
You will oversee approximately 10-12 operatives working through the mechanical subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, correctly and in line with programme requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Mechanical Supervisor
- Previous Data Centre experience
- Strong experience managing mechanical subcontractors and packages
- Experience across ventilation, pipework and air conditioning systems
- Able to identify and manage technical issues through to resolution
- Experience taking mechanical works/issues through to commissioning
- Strong understanding of mechanical installation, testing and commissioning processes
ASAP start available with an initial 6-month contract and ongoing rolling work
