Operating entirely on a remote basis, this role offers the perfect balance of autonomy and cross-functional teamwork, allowing you to spearhead product development while collaborating with marketing, supply chain and business development teams.

Role and responsibilities of this Technical Manager – NPD role:

• Lead product development from initial concept through to successful market launch.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain and business development team.
• Manage supplier relationships to secure robust manufacturing options.
• Improve product performance while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain high-level information governance for all technical data.
• Track market trends and ingredient innovations to proactively share strategic insights with the wider business.

Experience and Qualifications for this Technical Manager – NPD role:

• Hold a Degree in Food Science or a closely related technical discipline.
• Possess product development experience within the food manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of food manufacturing processes, quality principles and ISO standards relating to NPD.
• Show proven experience in managing complex projects and executing technical project strategies.
• Exhibit remote working proficiency with a self-motivated, unsupervised approach and strong IT skills.
• Display commercial acumen combined with a solutions-orientated and mentality.
