Audit & Risk Recruitment are working with a global FTSE100 business in Central London to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor for their corporate governance team in the UK. Will best suit a recently qualified internal auditor hailing from a Big 4/ Top 10 practice firm looking to make their first move into industry.
This is an international business, and as the successful candidate you will have a global remit covering audits across the UK, APAC, Europe and Asia (travel estimated around 40%.) The team works on a hybrid basis; with a combination of remote working and go to the office around 2 or 3 times per week.
The Senior Internal Auditor will work closely with the supportive Manager to deliver the cross-regional audits and ensure the effectiveness of corporate governance across the various business areas, globally. This is a highly acquisitive business where the audit team is respected and trusted and is often used as a vehicle into the wider position with recent examples becoming FD’s, FC’s and product controllers in the UK and overseas.
This is a collaborative team by nature that encourages exchange of ideas and will suit someone who is interested in progressing within the internal audit team or the wider business in a truly global environment.
To be successful you are likely to hold a relevant qualification (ACA/ACCA) and it is important to have demonstrable internal audit experience and have a desire to travel.
