Data Quality Analyst

Our client is a privately owned investment firm building a brand-new Data Operations function. The goal is a foundation of reliable, validated data that supports better decisions, automation, and responsible AI adoption across the firm. You’ll be an early hire shaping how that data gets defined, checked, and trusted by every team that relies on it.

Compensation

• $60,000–$80,000.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and maintain the data dictionary, including definitions, approved calculations, data owners, and source-of-truth references.
• Develop and maintain data quality controls and checks.
• Investigate data quality exceptions, find root causes, and coordinate fixes with the right owners.
• Reconcile data between systems and reports.
• Work across business teams to validate accuracy through regular review cycles.
• Maintain the vendor register, contract inventory, and renewal calendar, and review key clauses in vendor contracts.

What You’ll Need to be Considered

• Experience with Power Query and Power Automate.
• SharePoint experience, including metadata tagging (not as an admin).
• Experience building a data inventory or data glossary.
• SQL knowledge.
• Comfortable using Claude or similar AI productivity tools, which the team uses heavily.
