As we continue to develop and modernise our operations, we are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to play a critical leadership role within our Dronfield site.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Site Leadership Team and acting as a key operational leader, this role is effectively the number two within the warehouse function and has a significant influence across warehousing, logistics, materials management, customer service, and operational performance.
You will lead a team of 45 colleagues through 6 direct-report Team Leaders, overseeing all warehouse operations across front-end and back-end warehousing, dispatch, goods-in, and night operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven warehouse or logistics leader who has operated within a fast-moving FMCG, food manufacturing, perishables, or retail distribution environment and is looking for a role where they can make a genuine impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead warehouse operations across Goods In, Storage, Dispatch and Nights.
- Manage a team of 45 through 6 Team Leaders.
- Drive OTIF, stock accuracy, service and cost performance.
- Ensure timely material supply to production and efficient dispatch operations.
- Lead continuous improvement, safety and operational excellence.
About You
A hands-on warehouse leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, challenges the status quo and delivers measurable improvements.
Essential Experience
- Warehouse, Logistics or Distribution Management experience.
- Strong background in low shelf-life, perishable FMCG or food manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience leading large teams through first-line managers.
- Track record of improving operational performance, efficiency and stock accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse systems, inventory control and distribution operations.
- Results-driven leader with a proactive, accountable approac
