Key Responsibilities:
As a Community Care Assistant, you will provide personalised care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Your duties will include:
- Supporting clients with washing, dressing and maintaining personal hygiene
- Preparing meals and assisting with eating and drinking where required
- Supporting clients with medication in line with care plans and training
- Helping with light household tasks and maintaining a safe environment
- Offering companionship, emotional support and friendly conversation
- Recording care provided and reporting any concerns appropriately
Pay Rates:
During probation:
- Weekdays – £13 per hour
- Weekends – £14 per hour
Post probation:
- Weekdays – £15 per hour
- Weekends – £16 per hour
What we’re looking for:
- Full UK driving licence with access to your own car
- Female only due to client preference
- Right to work in the UK – CoS is not available
- Experience is preferred but not essential, as full training and ongoing support is provided
- A kind, compassionate and patient nature
- A genuine passion for caring for others
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and complete relevant training
