Client Onboarding Assistant (AML)

The firm

A leading international law firm with offices across the UK and overseas. This role sits in the business services side of the firm, supporting lawyers and clients across the whole network.

The role

You will join the client onboarding team within risk, carrying out anti money laundering checks on new clients and matters.

• Process new client and reactivation requests
• Research clients using online databases and build risk profiles
• Carry out client and matter risk assessments and sanctions screening
• Flag possible AML issues
• Process third party payment requests and keep records accurate

What you will need

• Close attention to detail and good research skills
• Able to work under pressure, alone or in a team
• Good Microsoft Office skills
• Other languages would be a plus
