Job Title: HR Advisor – Employee Relations (6 Month Temp to Perm)

About the Company

Our client is an established international manufacturer of loading and unloading solutions for the logistics and warehousing sectors, with a UK base in Milton Keynes and a nationwide team of field service engineers.

The Role

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you’ll lead on employee relations and consultation activity across the UK business. This is an initial 6 month temporary assignment with a view to going permanent.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and help manage consultation processes, including restructures and changes to terms and conditions
• Prepare consultation documentation and attend meetings as HR support and note-taker
• Manage an ER caseload covering disciplinaries, grievances, absence and performance
• Advise and coach managers through ER processes in line with UK employment law
• Conduct or support investigations and attend hearings and appeals
• Act as first point of contact for general HR queries

About You

• Proven HR Advisor experience with a strong ER focus
• Hands-on experience of consultation processes
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law
• Confident, assertive communicator, credible with engineers and managers alike
• Strong written skills and a calm, organised approach
• CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) desirable
