Placement Student – Design and Development Engineer

• Gain hands-on experience by working on live projects under the supervision of an experienced Engineer, ensuring real-world exposure.
• Involve in various aspects of a typical Engineering role, including the detailed design of components to industry standards.
• Participate in creating construction or tolerance layouts, and conduct thorough testing of physical components for performance and reliability.
• Acquire knowledge about simulation techniques and software used in engineering projects to predict and enhance performance.
• Undertake an individual project that focuses on developing specific skills and knowledge, paving the way for future career advancement.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of engineering practices and principles, preparing you for a successful career in the engineering field.Currently studying for an accredited engineering degree, preferably Mechanical Engineering or transferable.
• Show an interest in working in a global corporation and Adaptability to working in a changing environment
• Capable of independent working and team work as required
• Keen to work in an automotive organisation with a keen interest in the automotive industry
