Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Contract Type: Full-Time. Temp to Perm available

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, Rotational Shifts

Salary: £30,237.50

About the Role

The Best Connection Group Ltd are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner to join a busy transport operation based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous transport planning experienc e who are looking for a long term position with the potential to become permanent.

Shift Pattern

The role is Monday to Friday on a rotational shift pattern. Once fully trained, shifts will rotate between:

• 06:00am to 14:00pm
• 07:00am to 15:00pm
• 14:00pmm to 22:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating daily transport operations
• Allocating routes to drivers
• Monitoring vehicle and driver movements throughout the day
• Communicating effectively with drivers, customers and the wider transport team
• Ensuring transport schedules are managed efficiently and accurately

The Ideal Candidate

• Salary £30,237.50 per annum / £15.50ph
• Previous transport planning experience is essential
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced transport environment
