We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Executive to join our team and take ownership of our day-to-day marketing activity.
Stuart Energy is a growing, family-founded business specialising in temporary power generation, battery storage and climate-control solutions. We support customers across construction, engineering and industry, combining technical expertise with a genuinely personal approach.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and creative marketer who enjoys turning ideas into action. You’ll have the freedom to shape campaigns, introduce fresh ideas and work closely with colleagues across the business.
This isn’t an entry-level position. We need someone with at least three to five years’ relevant experience who can quickly understand our business, manage their own priorities and confidently take projects from an initial idea through to delivery and evaluation.
You’ll have plenty of support from the wider team, but you should be comfortable taking ownership, making recommendations and moving work forward without needing constant direction.
This position requires someone who is creative, organised, proactive and confident communicating with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
About you
You’ll be an experienced, hands-on marketer who enjoys getting involved and making things happen.
You’ll be able to see what needs doing, organise your own workload and take responsibility for delivering work to a high standard. You won’t be expected to know everything on day one, but you should be curious, resourceful and confident enough to ask the right questions and find solutions.
You’ll enjoy being part of a close-knit team while also being comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your area.
- Three to five years’ experience in a hands-on marketing role.
- Experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing, infrastructure or another technical B2B sector.
- A proven track record of independently planning, delivering and evaluating successful marketing campaigns.
- The ability to provide clear examples of campaigns you have managed, including their objectives, audiences, channels and measurable results.
- Strong content-writing, copywriting and proofreading skills.
- Experience managing business social-media channels, particularly LinkedIn.
- Experience producing website content, email campaigns, case studies and sales collateral.
- A good understanding of digital marketing, lead generation and campaign measurement.
- The ability to manage several projects and deadlines at the same time.
- Confidence working with senior leaders, sales teams, operational colleagues, customers and external suppliers.
- Experience within plant hire, equipment rental, power generation or temporary power.
- Knowledge of generators, battery storage, hybrid power or climate-control equipment.
- Experience marketing to construction companies, principal contractors, facilities-management providers or industrial customers.
- Experience coordinating exhibitions and industry events.
- Experience producing award submissions and corporate case studies.
- Basic design, photography or video-editing skills.
- Experience using CRM systems, website analytics and campaign-reporting tools.
The qualities we value
- Proactive, positive and full of ideas.
- Comfortable taking ownership and being accountable for results.
- Able to work independently without close supervision.
- Commercially aware and interested in how the wider business operates.
- Organised, dependable and able to prioritise effectively.
- Confident sharing ideas and recommending new approaches.
- Curious and keen to understand technical products and customer needs.
- Able to turn complex information into clear and engaging content.
- Collaborative, approachable and happy to support colleagues.
- Practical, delivery-focused and attentive to detail.
Qualifications
A degree or professional qualification in marketing, communications or a related subject would be helpful, but relevant industry experience, strong commercial awareness and evidence of successful work are more important to us.
