Stanilod Group is looking for a practical, commercially minded IT & Business Systems Manager to take ownership of the systems and technology used across our group.
This is not simply an IT support role. You’ll work across the business to understand how our teams operate, improve the systems they rely on and identify where technology, automation and AI can make a measurable difference.
The role
Stanilod Group is looking for a practical, commercially minded IT & Business Systems Manager to take ownership of the systems and technology used across our group.
This is not simply an IT support role. You’ll work across the business to understand how our teams operate, improve the systems they rely on and identify where technology, automation and AI can make a measurable difference.
The role
Your two main priorities will be:
Security & resilience – Working alongside our external IT and cyber-security partner, Rock IT, you’ll help protect our systems and information, strengthen business continuity and establish secure, controlled use of AI.
Business improvement – You’ll develop our use of OrderWise, reporting and automation, while leading the practical adoption and integration of systems including HubSpot, Jira and appropriate AI tools.
You’ll become the principal in-house owner of OrderWise, which sits at the heart of our sales, purchasing, stock, warehouse and reporting processes.
What you’ll be doing
- Take ownership of OrderWise administration and development across the group.
- Build and improve reports, dashboards and management information.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce duplicated work and introduce appropriate automation.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing development of HubSpot and Jira.
- Assess and introduce AI tools where they can deliver genuine business value.
- Establish appropriate controls around AI, confidential information and company data.
- Support and train colleagues with differing levels of technical confidence.
- Manage user access, permissions, system documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Act as the principal internal contact for Rock IT and other technology suppliers.
- Coordinate IT issues, equipment, licences and requirements for starters, movers and leavers.
- Work with Rock IT to maintain appropriate cyber-security, backup, recovery and business continuity arrangements.
- Develop a prioritised technology and business systems improvement plan for the group.
What we’re looking for
- Administering an ERP, warehouse, stock or other business management system.
- Reporting and turning operational data into useful management information.
- CRM, workflow or ticket-management systems.
- Business systems integration and automation.
- Supporting and training non-technical users.
- Microsoft 365, user administration and cyber-security fundamentals.
- Managing external IT or software providers.
- Identifying practical applications for AI within a business environment.
Experience with OrderWise, HubSpot or Jira would be advantageous, but isn’t essential. We’re equally interested in candidates with strong experience of comparable systems who can demonstrate an ability to learn complex software quickly.
We’re looking for someone who is hands‑on, approachable and commercially aware: someone who can understand a business problem, determine where technology can help and then take ownership of delivering the solution.
What we offer
- Salary from £60,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.
- Full‑time role based at our Evesham site, with flexibility to work from home when needed.
- 30 days’ annual leave, including bank holidays.
- Family healthcare cover.
- Workplace pension.
- The opportunity to take genuine ownership of technology and business systems across the group.
- Scope to develop the role and potentially build a wider internal systems and IT function as the group grows.
