Senior Business Developer, Fleet Commercial Team

Overview

In this role you drive multi-country commercial relationships with fleet management companies across nine European markets. You will shape and enforce contractual terms, manage escalations, and design governance for cross-functional teams. You lead high-stakes negotiations, quantify financial exposure, and coordinate partnerships across legal, finance, and operations. The opportunity sits at the intersection of operations, finance, and legal, enabling you to build robust, sustainable agreements that underpin Amazon’s last-mile network in Europe.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial relationship with fleet management companies across nine countries, accountable for contractual enforcement, escalations, and off-contract discussions
• Design, launch, and run the Commercial Governance workstream and cross-functional governance mechanisms
• Lead negotiations to resolve escalations with financial or legal exposure, including contract interpretation and liability discussions
• Manage the incentive and penalty payment mechanism end-to-end with finance and operations partners
• Coordinate cross-functional change management across fleet operations, legal, finance, and technology to align commercial outcomes with company goals

Key requirements

• Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate deals
• Experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
• Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams across geographies and business units
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
