Overview
In this role you will design and lead the development of a distinctive feature for millions of shoppers in Alexa for Shopping. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional partners to craft engaging user experiences and bring prototypes to production. You will own end-to-end delivery, participate in hiring and mentoring, and share knowledge across teams. The opportunity emphasizes customer impact, technical excellence, and fast iteration in a highly innovative environment.
Responsibilities

- Define and implement optimal user experiences with design partners

- Communicate clearly in writing and speaking with various stakeholders
Key requirements
- Experience in professional, non-internship software development
- Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# with object-oriented design
- Experience with full software development life cycle including standards, reviews, source control, build, test, and operations
- Experience contributing to architecture and design (reliability and scaling) of systems
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
