Cost Manager- Bristol, Cardiff & Plymouth

Overview

In this Cost Manager role, you will support UK infrastructure projects in transportation and utilities, managing budgets, forecasts and cost governance. You’ll work with client and contractor teams to deliver cost control, value engineering and timely change management. The position sits in our contract and cost management group and offers exposure to major infrastructure programmes across the Southwest region. You’ll contribute to sustainable Net Zero outcomes through accurate commercial delivery.

Responsibilities

• Establish professional relationships with clients and project stakeholders
• Administer contracts aligned with project objectives and policies
• Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting up to completion
• Monitor cost variance and cash flow, ensuring timely and correct applications
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage deliverables, KPIs and value engineering
• Manage contract changes to maintain governance and best practice
• Improve forecast and budget accuracy over time
• Provide commercial guidance to stakeholders and support final accounts negotiation
• Lead people and commissions as needed
