Group Finance ControllerChester | Hybrid Working (3 days in the office) | Temp to Perm | £70,000 – £75,000Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a successful and growing Chester-based business in the appointment of a Group Finance Controller on a temp-to-perm basis.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a dynamic organisation at a key stage of its growth journey. Working closely with the Group Finance Director, you’ll take ownership of the finance function, lead a capable team and play a key role in improving controls, reporting and commercial decision-making across the group.
The RoleAs Group Finance Controller, you will:
- Lead and develop the finance team across the business
- Take ownership of monthly management accounts and group reporting
- Ensure robust financial controls, compliance and governance
- Manage cashflow, forecasting and budgeting processes
- Partner with operational stakeholders across the organisation
- Drive improvements to financial systems, processes and reporting
- Support strategic projects and business growth initiatives
- Act as a key deputy to the Group Finance Director
About YouWe’re looking for:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant
- Previous experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise
- Proven experience managing and developing finance teams
- Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Available at short notice or immediately available
