Fire Engineer

In this Fire Engineer role, you will contribute to complex fire and life safety designs across international projects, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to shape buildings and safety systems. You will participate in project management, client care, and technical design efforts, advancing fire protection strategies for iconic venues and mega-projects. Responsibilities

• Project manage fire engineering projects with the team
• Guide building design aspirations and architectural form through the design process
• Engage in client care and general consultancy on projects
• Oversee financial performance, invoicing and monitoring of projects
• Represent the Fire Engineering team at design meetings internally and externally
• Identify and specify appropriate fixed fire protection systems (detection/suppression)
• Perform and review fire engineering calculations including smoke modelling and evacuation analysis (from simple to 3D CFD when needed)

Key requirements

• Demonstrable professional experience delivering fire and life safety designs for UK-based projects
• Track record of obtaining agreement for prescriptive and performance-based solutions from authorities
