Senior Data Protection Manager

Overview

In this role you will shape and operationalise IQ-EQ’s data protection strategy across a global organisation. You will provide expert guidance to clusters and support functions, supporting the Group DPO and privacy analysts. You will drive policy development, risk assessments, and training to embed data protection into everyday business operations. This is a chance to influence governance at scale and strengthen regulatory compliance across diverse workflows. You will work with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of privacy by design and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on data protection compliance across the organisation
• Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies and procedures
• Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments to identify improvement areas
• Engage stakeholders across departments to embed data protection principles
• Lead data protection impact assessments and advise on regulatory obligations
• Design and deliver training programmes to raise privacy awareness

Key requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in data protection and privacy management
• Industry certifications such as IAPP CIPP/E, CIPM, or Practitioner Certificate in Data Protection
• Proven GDPR competency and up-to-date knowledge of data protection regulations
• Expert-level knowledge in developing and implementing data protection frameworks and policies
• Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and stakeholder engagement on data protection
