Finance Systems Analyst

Overview

In this role, you support and optimise the D365 F&O platform to strengthen finance processes, data quality, and controls. You’ll work with Finance, IT and business stakeholders to enable global system changes and drive business value. You’ll help transform finance operations through process improvements, governance, and effective change management. This position offers a collaborative, forward‑looking environment with opportunities to shape finance systems across regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for D365 F&O Finance processes, resolving system, process and data-related issues
• Act as a key point of contact for Finance system queries, coordinating with IT and external partners on incidents and service requests
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and system utilization
• Support finance master data governance, data quality initiatives and compliance with audit requirements
• Assist with system enhancements, upgrades and testing activities, ensuring successful change adoption
• Deliver user training, maintain process documentation and support global Finance teams through system changes and rollouts
• Play a key role in the global transformation programme, shaping and optimizing finance processes across regions

Key requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) or a comparable ERP system
• Experience of ERP implementations, system testing, change management activities and user support
• Strong understanding of core Finance processes, including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash
• Experience investigating and resolving system, process and data-related issues
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Understanding of master data governance, financial controls and process standardisation
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across Finance, IT and business teams
• Experience within a manufacturing and/or multi-entity global organisation
