Director, Growth & Business Transformation, Patient Strategy

Overview

In this role you shape and execute enterprise, portfolio and growth strategy to translate corporate priorities into clear roadmaps and value-creation plans. You advise executive leadership on market dynamics, competitive positioning and strategic trade-offs to inform enterprise decisions. You lead corporate development and M&A initiatives, including target assessment, due diligence, valuation, and post-deal integration. You mobilise cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and establish governance to track benefits and value. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to drive transformation that helps healthcare clients advance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute enterprise, portfolio and growth strategy with clear roadmaps
• Advise executive leadership on market dynamics and strategic trade-offs
• Lead corporate development and M&A activities: target assessment, due diligence, valuation, transaction execution, post-deal integration
• Develop market analyses, business cases and financial models for executive recommendations
• Mobilise cross-functional teams to deliver complex initiatives end-to-end
• Establish governance, performance measures and risk disciplines to ensure accountability
• Influence senior stakeholders and external partners to align on critical decisions and investment cases
• Build and lead high-performing, strategically focused teams across the organisation

Key requirements

• Bachelor in Business (MBA preferred)
• 12+ years in corporate strategy, corporate development, M&A or transformation with senior leadership accountability
• Proven leadership of enterprise, portfolio and growth strategy and M&A execution
• Prior strategy consulting or internal corporate strategy experience preferred
• Strong commercial and financial acumen: market assessment, business case development, valuation, financial modelling
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver strategic, financial and operational outcomes
• Applied AI expertise (Microsoft Copilot and Claude) to enhance analysis and decision-making
• Experience in data architecture, technology strategy and product engineering
