Associate Project Manager

Overview

In this client-side role, you will manage projects across the full lifecycle for a multidisciplinary property consultancy. You will lead projects from feasibility through to handover, coordinate design teams and contractors, and maintain strong client relationships. You will monitor programmes, budgets and risks while supporting procurement and contract administration. The position offers exposure to a varied portfolio, genuine responsibility, and opportunities to contribute to the growth of the team. This is a role for a proactive professional who helps clients achieve their objectives and shapes project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from feasibility and design through procurement, construction and handover
• Serve as a primary client contact and build lasting relationships
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, contractors and external consultants
• Manage programmes, budgets, risks and reporting
• Oversee procurement and contract administration as required
• Ensure delivery aligns with client objectives, timescales and budget
• Support development of client relationships and growth opportunities for existing accounts
• Guide and support junior team members where appropriate

Key requirements

• Experience delivering projects in the property or built environment sector
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle from inception to completion
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing programmes, budgets, risks and project teams
• Ability to take ownership of projects and manage competing priorities
• Professional qualification such as MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB would be beneficial
