The Class 1 ADR Driver Role
As a Class 1 ADR Driver, you’ll be responsible for completing safe and efficient driving duties while maintaining high standards of professionalism, compliance and customer service.You’ll ensure all journeys are completed in line with transport legislation, company procedures and ADR requirements, carrying out the necessary vehicle checks and documentation while representing the organisation professionally when dealing with customers and colleagues. xwwtmva
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in accordance with company proceduresTransport ADR-regulated goods safely and compliantlyComplete daily vehicle checks and report any defectsEnsure driving hours and Working Time regulations are followedComplete all required transport and delivery documentation accuratelyMaintain high standards of health and safetyCommunicate professionally with customers, colleagues and operational teamsEnsure vehicles are kept safe, secure and presentable
Class 1 ADR Driver Essential Skills
Valid UK Class 1 / Category C+E driving licenceValid ADR qualificationValid Driver CPCDigital Tachograph CardStrong understanding of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time regulationsProfessional and safety-conscious approachReliable and communicativeGood attention to detail
