HGV Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Darlington area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

*Please note that Class 1 and 2 can apply – typically driving a class 2 vehicle however, on occasions may be Class 1 vehicle*

Shifts: Operation runs across Monday to Sunday

Start Times: Days and afternoons (drivers need to be flexible with start times)

Location: Leicester LE4

Job Type: Ad-hoc / Temp / Ongoing

Pay Rate

• Day time £15.40 per hour PAYE
• Night Rates £16.33 per hour PAYE

The role

• Bulk multi-drop – 15/20 drops/collections. Drivers will be required to unload and load the roll cages using tail lift and pump truck.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E/C).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months minimum experience required
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
