Registered Manager Children’s Residential HomeSalary: up to £55,000 per annumLocation: Sway, Lymington, SO41
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager or a Deputy Manager who is looking to step up to support the effective leadership of a child-centred residential home that is currently home to 2 children. This role is key to ensuring the home consistently meets Ofsted regulations, delivers high-quality care, and promotes positive outcomes for children.
Working as the Registered Manager, you will help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stable environment, underpinned by therapeutic practice and strong safeguarding principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children in line with legislation and best practice
- Lead, supervise, and develop the staff team to deliver consistently high standards of care
- Contribute to care planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance
- Participate in the on-call rota when required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 year’s experience in a children’s residential management role
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and quality assurance
- Hold a either a Level 3 NVQ or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
- Profficient in de-escalation of challenging behaviours
- Full UK driving licence
Working hours are Monday to Friday however this may vary in accordance with the needs of the home with sleep ins paid in addition at £55 per sleep.
