Project Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer to join a major construction project in Middlesbrough.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer with strong construction experience to join an established project team and play a key role in the successful delivery of the works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate engineering activities between the project, construction and design teams
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved designs and project requirements
• Support the resolution of technical queries and engineering issues
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders
• Monitor progress and ensure engineering activities are delivered to programme
• Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation
• Assist with inspections, quality control and handover activities

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Project Engineer within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of construction engineering principles and processes
• Experience working with drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively with project teams, subcontractors and clients
• Relevant engineering/construction qualification
• Available for an immediate start
