Senior Trading Standards Officer (Product Safety & Investigations)

Thurrock Council’s Trading Standards team is seeking a Senior Trading Standards Officer on a fixed-term 12-month contract. The role focuses on leading enforcement, product safety and regulatory investigations, with a varied workload across local, regional and national partners.

You will need excellent communication and case-management skills, with proven enforcement experience. DBS Enhanced disclosure is required, and a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Trading Standards is essential.
