Senior Planning Officer – Development and Urban Design Lead

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council seeks a Principal Planning Officer to lead the Development Management team. You will oversee processing of planning and related applications, input into the Development Plan, and liaise with agencies and stakeholders to secure robust urban design outcomes.

The role requires MRTPI or ARICS, a Town and Country Planning degree, and at least five years of post-qualification experience, with excellent negotiation, communication and organisational skills.
