ReportingtotheFactoryManager,you’lloverseetwoproductionareasandmanagetwoProductionManagers,keepingproductionontrackandmakingsurestandardsstayhigh.

I’mlookingforsomeonewholeadsbyexample,getsthebestoutoftheirpeopleandfindspracticalwaystomakethingsrunbetter.

Keyresponsibilities

• Leadthebackshiftoperation,settingclearexpectationsanddeliveringproductionandservicetargets.
• Maintainfoodsafety,healthandsafety,productquality,traceabilityandcustomerspecificationstandards.
• Managestaffingandlabourcosts,includingteamrotation,holidaysandabsencecover.
• Monitorperformanceandimproveyield,labourefficiency,wasteandproductgiveaway.
• Developyourmanagersandtheirteamsthroughtraining,performancemanagementandsuccessionplanning.
• Runstructuredmeetings,keepcommunicationclearandensureissuesareescalatedandproductionsystemsareusedcorrectly.

Requirements

WhatI’mlookingfor

• Significantmanagementexperiencewithinfoodmanufacturing,withstrongleadershipandpeoplemanagementskills.
• ExperienceworkingtoBRCstandards.
• Level3FoodHygieneorequivalent,plusHACCPcertification.
• Someonewhocanmotivateteams,holdpeopleaccountableandturnimprovementplansintoresults.
• Goodnumeracy,attentiontodetailandclearspokenandwrittenEnglish.
• Aflexible,adaptableapproachandawillingnesstosupportothers’development.
• HaverighttoworkintheUK.
