Social Media, Content & Influencer Executive

Company: Gutology
Apply for the Social Media, Content & Influencer Executive
Location: West Midlands
Job Description:

We’re on a mission to help people be proudly, passionately pro-bacteria. Founded in 2020 when Ollie’s battle with gut health sent him searching for real answers, we started with a podcast – and now millions of people later, we’re building the category-defining brand for microbiome health.

Just like the gut itself, we’re powered by the right ingredients in the right combination: science-backed thinking, natural formulations that are low-tox but high-efficacy, and a team of brilliant Gutologists who genuinely believe that feeling good starts from the inside out.

We’re ambitious, values-led, and growing fast – expanding our community of converts, our retailer list, and our reach across an ever-growing number of countries. Our goal? £25m in annual Gross Sales within three years. We’re the ones making bacteria the next big thing, and we’re just getting started.

What you’ll do

  • Create (30%): Plan and own the content calendar. Film, edit and post Reels and TikToks, shoot iPhone photography and UGC-style content, and make light Canva graphics. Organise and run occasional content shoots.
  • Partner (30%): Source, vet and brief influencers and creators. Handle outreach, negotiation, gifting and paid collaborations. Build lasting relationships and track campaign performance and ROI.
  • Run our socials (25%): Manage Instagram, TikTok and other channels day to day: posting, scheduling, community management, follower growth and platform strategy.
  • Measure (10%): Track performance across content, social and influencer activity, with monthly reporting on growth, engagement and what’s working.
  • Collaborate (5%): Brief our external designers on bigger assets, support product launches and pass customer queries from social to our Customer Care team.

About you

  • You shoot and edit on your phone without thinking twice (CapCut or similar, basic Canva), and you have a portfolio of short-form content to show for it
  • 1–2+ years managing social channels for a consumer brand, with strong knowledge of Instagram and TikTok
  • Experience sourcing, briefing and managing creator partnerships, both gifted and paid
  • You write well and can hold a consistent brand voice
  • You’re comfortable working independently and remotely in a small, fast-moving team
  • You have your own kit for shooting content (smartphone, basic lighting/audio)
  • Experience in health, wellness, beauty or DTC
  • Existing relationships with UK wellness or beauty creators
  • Comfortable on camera, or experienced directing creators and UGC talent
  • Paid social experience

The details

  • Freelance contract, 3 days a week
  • Remote-first, ideally Midlands-based, with occasional travel to our Alcester office and to London for shoots
  • Reporting to our Head of Growth

Applications close Sunday 18 October. We’re reviewing as they come in, so don’t wait.
