Year 5 Primary School Teacher

Step Teachers are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Year 5 Teacher for a long-term maternity cover position in a welcoming primary school in North London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who can quickly establish positive relationships, maintain high standards in the classroom, and deliver engaging lessons that support pupil progress.

The Role

• Full classroom responsibility within a Year 5 class
• Planning, preparation and assessment responsibilities
• Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Monitoring and supporting pupil progress
• Working collaboratively with teaching colleagues and school leaders

We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A commitment to raising attainment and supporting every learner
• Confidence in planning and delivering high-quality lessons
