We are Looking For a Female PA to Support a Young Lady in Ashbourne with Personal Care and Companionship – HM-DCC-001 – Ashbourne DE6. – 17 Hours Per Week.
We are looking for a patient, kind and outgoing PA to support a young lady in Ashbourne.
Part of your role will also include working alongside other professionals such as a speech therapist.
Roles and Responsibilities:
An important part of the role is supporting the individual getting out into the community. This will include enjoying new activities together and taking part in activities that bring happiness and fulfilment. This could include going out for meals, enjoying a game of bowling or going out to get their nails done!
The role will also involve accompanying her to her weekly horse-riding session every Wednesday at 11:00 am.
Another important aspect of the role is to support the individual keeping on top of her daily tasks. This will include ensuring she keeps her bedroom tidy.
An additional part of the role is to support with personal care. This will include ensuring she has bathed properly and could also include help with dressing
About Me:
She is a fun-loving, easy-going individual with a fantastic sense of humour and a personality that will bring plenty of laughter to the day. Although she can be a little quiet when meeting someone for the first time, once she feels comfortable, her hilarious and playful side really shines through.
It is important to take the time to build a positive relationship with her, allowing her to feel relaxed, confident and able to express herself in her own way. She understands much more than she is always able to articulate verbally and attends weekly speech therapy to support her communication.
She is a real girly girl who loves a bit of pampering, especially having her hair and nails done.
She also has a real love for animals, making animal-related activities and experiences a great way to engage with her interests
Hobbies and Interests:
She has a wide range of hobbies and interests, particularly when it comes to animals and outdoor activities. She absolutely loves animals and enjoys spending time grooming and caring for them, especially horses and alpacas.
Horse riding is another activity she thoroughly enjoys and is an important part of her routine
