NHS Dumfries and Galloway Supplementary Staffing service provides appropriately skilled and experienced registered nursing staff on a temporary basis to support increased staffing across all our inpatient areas.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated adult/paediatric nurses to help strengthen the Neonatal bank with nurses qualified in neonatal speciality. This vacancy has been developed to support the unit to meet the current British Association of Perinatal Mortality standards for Neonatal staffing. Our modern and friendly Neonatal unit consists of 2 ITU/HDU and 7 Special care cots.
You should possess a passion for improving the health and wellbeing of our babies and families; enthusiasm to embrace change; resilience when working with complex families and be required to work to ensure effective service delivery.

As a Neonatal Bank Nurse supporting in the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of high quality nursing care you will have the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams of nurses, doctors, health care assistants and other health professionals during your bank shifts.
To be part of our Neonatal Band 6 Bank staff you will need to be a registered nurse with a valid live NMC PIN number and QIS qualification.
